A Little Housekeeping for the Month Ahead

Two things are happening next month that are going to have an impact on this blog so I thought I’d give you a headsup.

First off the RPG Bloggers Network Carnival will be moving in tomorrow for its November run so check back tomorrow for news on that. I mentioned this the other day but just in case you missed it I thought it give another shout about it.

Secondly and possibly more important as to how this blog is going to be handled in November. I’m taking part in this years Nanowrimo with the aim of getting a campaign setting written down and out of my head. With the aim of Nanowrimo being to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days I’m going to be writing a awful lot so my already slack posting schedule may take a hit. I’ll still be posting throughout the month but bare with me if they seem a little like filler posts or don’t really make much sense at the first read through.

Thanks to Nanowrimo I’m also changing how I ‘publish’ my campaign work. Rather than posting them as static pages on the blog I’ve installed some forum software that will allow me to both write the setting as and when I can and allow people to comment and crit if they see fit. It’s mostly to allow me to write when I can write though.
